You may have questions about my policies, training, or about psychoanalysis in general,

such as:

What is psychoanalysis?

How does psychoanalysis work? What can I expect?

Am I right for you? Are you right for me?

What are the logistics? Fee, frequency, etc.?

What is psychoanalysis?

Psychoanalysis offers a space to safely explore the layers of your inner world: a place to think, feel, discover and change. Through a sustained therapeutic relationship, we will explore the experiences, relationships, dreams, conflicts and desires that have shaped you. Not to judge them, but to understand them.

How does psychoanalysis work? What can I expect?

Psychoanalysis is an intensive work, often meeting multiple times per week, and typically long-term. Higher frequency provides the opportunity to delve into longstanding patterns and dynamics that may remain inaccessible in less intensive treatment. Through this process, many people find not only symptom relief, but greater freedom and a stronger sense of who they are.

Am I right for you? Are you right for me?

Due to the length and depth of psychoanalytic work, finding a fit between patient and analyst is important for both parties.

In addition to my psychoanalytic training, I hold a Masters of Fine Art in Art & Art Theory, which informs my practice deeply. I work well with creative individuals of all ages who wish to explore their internal workings and artistic strivings.

What are the logistics?

I charge $135 per 50-minute session.

I see patients at a minimum of one (1) session per week, though sessions may occur multiple times per week. This will be determined by us together in our consultation or first few sessions, and may be adjusted as our work develops.

I am not associated with any insurance provider, and would be considered out-of-network.

I have a 48-hour cancellation policy.
